Re: Hope2float's P-21 in Jackson
Hey all, I'm back and I have been lurking around. I see some real good work going on here as usual. Justin the answer is yes I am still out here. The boat was stored inside for the winter. I had a great opportunity to store it for free. I could even work on it there as the space was heated. I did not take full advantage of that. I did bring her back home on Mothers day weekend. I still have some small tasks to complete to be called finished. I painted the berth platform and the perimeter around the gunwales to get ready for Kiwi grip. While it was at the shop I had to replace the all around light because I broke off the stainless one when I backed her up into the shop. Take notice of the clearence to the roof of the shop.
Here are some pics of the days work. I am trying to complete repair to the spray rails before the holiday weekend.
BUILD-ON!

Hey to all this is the update to the Kiwi grip and berth. The Kiwi is now done, but it can use another coat. It still looks great makes it feel finished. All I have to do is run the wiring for the windlass now. Thanks to all of you on this forum. Ok here are some pictures of todays work.
BUILD-ON!
Dave
I will keep the updates coming and help where ever I can.

Beautiful!
This looks so much better than my renderings, it's a real boat.

Hey all its been a long time since I posted. I would like to report that the boat is GREAT! It has done everything asked of it. Rough water is a little hard on the kidneys but for the most part it is a very capable boat. We enjoyed fishing the Atlantic until late fall. It has served the family very well including all the friends. I kept her in the driveway this winter because I didn't have the opportunity to store it.
I've been getting ready for this spring.
