Re: new VG 26 build
It helps I work from home (that is my workshop behind the boat)...plus July was a pretty slow month for business so I had plenty of open time. (not to mention I can't resist not doing at least something on the boat every day)

hahah... it seams even more gigantic once you have to lay the sandpaper to it. The outside called for one layer of overlapped biaxial glass (with 6" biaxial tape over seams) The keel has 3 layers plus 2 layers of tape for seams.

So, when is the flip going to happen? Will you make a tent that will allow you to do some winter work?

Re: new VG 26 build
Thanks!
I just built the turning frames today, the weather has just been too nice not to not take advantage this week- especially after the previous 2 weeks of rain here.
I am going to make sure there is a rain free stretch of weather to turn it so I will have time to figure out a plan of attack for winter shelter-yes I do want to chip away at this big lug through the winter if possible, but first I want a better picture of what I have to work with having it right side up before I make a solid plan for shelter- In the meantime I will go with a temporary lumber and tarp to keep the elements out.
I am very anxious to see this thing right side up to get a good idea of what she will look like when done....can't wait!!

Nice! How about a picture with someone standing near the keel... for scale.
