They make seats for paddle boards (or flat top kayaks).

Weight will be between 32 and 34 lbs if built correctly.

Later, we will use that assembly system to build a Sit On Top/ Stand Up Kayak: a wide stubby kayak, very stable in the style of this boat:

Looking forward to this one  I would like to start this after my Phantom :!: I saw plans a couple years ago that incorporated a cooler with seat cushion on the board.

sorry

The SUP is moving along, just have not done anything on it for a couple weeks. I will post pictures on Friday when I upload/re-size/upload for the week.

Jacques is reworking the panel shapes to make them easier to bend. There was a lot of twist towards the bow and it was not something many people would be able to do. So, what to do with the half built prototype #1 :?: :) Well, i decided to fill it foam and finish it anyway :D Since we will be improving the design and not selling this first version, I will just post a couple pictures of it when Im finished.

We will build a prototype of the newer design, and document it completely.

4 mm ply on the bottom panels? It's what I've planned, but I also have an aggressive bend at the bow, and am wondering if it will take the bend. :? Looking forward to the pictures of the unofficial prototype... :)
