High build primer and fairing?

After using the Sterling high build primer do you put the guide coat on and then use a fairing board before putting the Sterling finishing primer on or do you put the guide coat on before the Sterling high build primer and fair?

You should use a guide coat every step of the way, it will show you where the highs, lows and pinholes are. Use the 3M dry guide coat that I mentioned on your other thread.
