I saw that video a few weeks ago. All I have to say is that boat makes me feel funny!

I'd be tempted to put the whole nine yards behind glass with an armed guard, but the builder made it to be used. Amazing.

Beautiful boat. If they really brushed on 70 coats of varnish instead of spraying, they did some serious sanding to get it smooth.

Do you think he'd be a bit uneasy about a couple of empty beer cans flopping around in the back?

You know he is all about " Hey look at me-- Look at my boat". Its beautiful but its just a show boat.

The one thing I noticed was when brushing on the varnish was how thick he was putting it on.Kind of like laying a heavy coat of epoxy and letting it seek its own level. I usually attend the antique boat show every year in Mt. dora. I have not seen anything that compares to this.

Got to admire the talent and time, even if there is no practical reason for it
