Fritz is taking care of it.
I had to disable the pictures uplaod system from bateau.com, that's how they entered the site.
I'll be busy today and will limit my responses, sorry.

Thanks. Jacques plugged the hole and I worked on recovery. I don't want to discuss the issue specifics on the forum but to say we're working on it.

It falls under the category of mischief and defacement rather than a criminal attempt to take over the server.

All systems have their weak points --- but thanks for the tip of phpbb.

"Defacement"? Someone was able to replace one of your
site's primary INDEX files - I'd also look at your hosting service,
they're firewalls are poor at best. I changed hoster last
year - same problem, at that time it was USSR hackers.
More than mischief.

"Guest" :

Its' a web site for crying out loud, not an e commerce site, not a government data network, not a life saving emergency medical dispatch network. It's a hobby web site. If you are a computer network security analyst -- then you know exactly what happend and why i call it defacement.

Lighten up dude....boat building is to take us away from the problems of the world. Go back to your sanding and fileting --- it will be better soon.

RANT MODE ON: If people would take world issues as seriously as they take a web site being down -- the world would be a better place.

RANT MODE OFF.
