Full transom and BOM for CS25

Post by TL »

Do I need to buy an extra piece of 1/2" plywood for the full transom? It appears that the BOM allows for three layers and the clamping board.
The full transom calls for four full layers of 1/2". Can I piece together one of the inside laminations from scrap? Could I use BC Marine Fir for one of the laminations?

Thanks

If it is going to be glassed over most any type of plywood will work.Don`t think I would use scrap pieces on stern.Need solid pieces glued together for strength.Could probably use the scrap somewhere else like on center console, etc.
