Repainting xf20

Hi everyone! New here, but just bought a xf20 from a guy and wish to repaint it. He used stage 3 but i was thinking about the sterling product. Are these compatable? Can i just sand to 320grit and topcoat? Or do i need to sand to 100 grit, reprime, then topcoat?

You will want to remove the paint, down to the primer. Otherwise you nice new sterling will only be bonded to the hullas well as the S3 paint is now
