I know it's years later but I am really interested in the gunnels you built. The idea of getting rid of that ugly nose and making this more skiffy appeals to me. Do you happen to remember how wide the stripping you ran was? MY guess would be at most 3 inches. But, looking at my boat, the curvature seems to vary greater than 3 inches when i reference the proposed nose job.

If you need, I have drafts I'm putting together for my rebuild plans if u r interested.
