Yes, I have read that acetone will eat out the foam. I didn't see much reason to do that though, maybe to run some wires in there, but I didn't want to cut a hole in it... 8)

Did you wrap CF strips around the pipe insulation, put it on the ply w/ screws in the right shape then wet it out? I really like how it came out and I'd like to try it on a few small pieces before a larger project.

I used FG and CF sleeves. You can get them from BBC.

Still plugging away at the noe. I glassed the rub rails, nose and rear deck. I also finalized the position for the FF and drilled the holes in the grab bar shelf for it as well as figuring the preliminary position for the jack plate.
I have some sanding and filling to do and then she's ready for paint... :D

Getting down to the wire on this build. I have to finish up some wiring, lay down some Seadek, clear coat the carbon fiber and find a trailer....
