I right clicked on the full size picture and selected "copy image address", then pasted that into the message like this:

https://www.community.boatbuildercentra ... 133202.jpg

Then highlighted it and clicked on the picture icon in the toolbar above.

The result.

I would still suggest that the phpBB photo gallery is simpler for new users as it uses image tags. There’s a tutorial located at https://community.boatbuildercentral.co ... hp?t=64990
My already completed 'Lil Bit'. A Martens Goosen V12 set up to sail me to the fishing holes.

Thanks. Haven't studied up on stuff in that sub-forum. Didnt realize I needed to look there.

Jacques has an old tutorial in the MiniFAQ at the top of the bb about posting pics that's obsolete and confusing by its presence.

Think I've got the gallery now...

This island, more or less in the middle of the inlet, decades ago was home to an asphalt production plant. Was recently donated to the community college here for sea level change research. Good crabitat. You can see signs of the old shoreline in enough places to see the ocean's rise.

Finally got using the gallery figured out. Thanks Jaysen.

I started this boat about 7 years ago, floated it unpainted that year, then moved on, with it sitting in the yard mostly under cover for years. Moved to the NC coast a couple years back, finished it last spring, and have been USING it, mostly as a sheepshead/drum chaser. I'm still looking for a sho-nuff Beaufort Sleighride. That hasn't happened yet. The way I fish, the bridge monsters slam the boat into the pilings, then cut me off. I'm 0 for 14 on them ugly trolls that live under there over the past year or so.

This is what two thick coats of graphite epoxy looks like after about 40 groundings. Mostly sand, but you see the pic. Even where it looks like sand, it seems there is always a rock just outa sight. Coming ashore back'ards makes em hard to see. There are actually two small chunks of epoxy gone along the keel, down to the glass showing. I'm going to put a skeg along the keel and re-graphite and repaint soon.

I use a utility trailer with two vertical bunks for carrying the boat. I can keep the tires out of the water and slide the two rails back about 5 feet to launch and reload. Those smudges on the front of the hull and much of the scuffing seen on the bottom are from the two wooden rails that are now topped with worn-off graphite/epoxy.
