AR15 Ventilation

Hi,
I have a question regarding the chamber beneath the seats. I am going to fill under the sole with foam. I know that it is optional to also put foam sheets beneath the seats, however, if I don't want to put the sheets in, is ventilation needed? I would assume some type is in order to account for the expansion of the hot air inside. Let me know any thoughts! Thanks!

There should not not be a problem with expansion but to be safe, you could use a transom plug or a kayak expansion plug.
