On a clean system (no cookies yet), I went to login to the forum. Firefox 51 or above was kind enough to tell me that the login page was insecure. It was using plain http instead of https. Snoopers and other lowlifes could easily observe my username and password in transit *on the wire*.
I manually added https:// in front of the url and was then given a secure version of the login page. So....
Your code for the login link on the forum page ought to be changed to make the login page load with https instead of http. Once again, the manual fix worked, but how many people will know to do it, or understand this post? Please update the link to the login page. Thank you. And thank you for keeping this forum up and running. It is a tremendous source of support and information, and occasional entertainment.
Clean Login link is insecure -- NOT https

I will ask Jamie to review your thread first thing on Wednesday morning. Thank you, Jeff

Like KS8 said we all know keeping this forum up and running is a lot of work but it is what makes all of this work so well. The plans are great and I am sure JM would sell many of them no matter what but I bet having the forum does wonders for sales.
