The “secret” that was suggested to me … pay the boat yard to do the bottom job. Then they manage the out/in. This allows you to get the boat in the water, distribute weight for balance, then mark water line. Deliver to boat yard for painting and done.

Around here bottom job is
1. Sand
2. Fair
3. Paint
4. Touch ups

I found I would save about $500 if I let them do it vs diy. Tue difference is haul out/in and yard fees for my h24.
My already completed 'Lil Bit'. A Martens Goosen V12 set up to sail me to the fishing holes.
Currently working on making a Helms 24 our coastal cruiser.

Yes. Probably a fishing pole locker only the door is only 4' on purpose, so maybe breakdown rods.

A few of the wires will travel across here as well. And a nice seating area.

The work I see sure looks good.
You must be getting close to done by now. Have you got any idea of how many man hours you have in it so far?

Lee, when do you think you will finish her, fall and winter is coming up fast for you so don't know how winterized you are.

Confusin me with Barraman?

I am Dan Fall, aka Fallguy.

Have no fear, only gonna put oil in the engines. No water onboard. Agm batteries will be fine. I will keep working on her all winter; cabin finishes and wiring engines on warmer days.

My apologies Dan two days of hard driving from IA scrambled my brain. Glad you will be able to work on her up in the north country.
