Dan how are you coming with your insurance? Held up with paperwork or technicalities? Tom

Re: Woods Skoota 32DM
Well, I got turned down by about 3 underwriters thus far. But on Thursday, State Farm underwriting asked my agent for an effective date, so I expected news Friday, but got none.
Meanwhile, I have another independent agent working on it; the one that got the turn downs.
Hagerty did not get me a policy because the agent went through Hagerty's only underwriter Markel. The classic rejection is that it is custom made. The agent keeps saying 'kit'. I told her it isn't a kit, but she says, well, custom. Hagerty seemed to act like smaller boats were more their style, but once Markel turned me down; no reason to go through Hagerty.
I feel like State Farm may come through. Otherwise, Hagerty told me I could call them for more options for different underwriters, but they would not broker.
All epoxy boat, top speed 23kts, seems like a good policy.

Epifanes blister?
Pretty sure this is a paint blister. Probably from getting morning dew only.
Ugh.

This was in the sanding area for the bottom paint. The first one is above it.
I was warned Epifanes might do this..

Amazing to see the whole shebang! How about Lloyds of London for underwriting, she might be in the right class

I feel your pain, I feel your pain. Just on a whole lot smaller scale and I have no clue what I am doing when it comes to paint and I don't like sanding.fallguy1000 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 15, 2022 10:44 am This was in the sanding area for the bottom paint. The first one is above it.

Moving the boat.
Moving to Texas is at least a year away. House not even bid, yet. Waiting on bid.
I got the invoice to move the boat. Does not include the two cranes. $6570...ouch, budget miss. But I think the guy is a good mover, so not messing around..
Re: Woods Skoota 32DM
That seems expensive!!! Where are you moving the boat to for now?? Jeff
