Finishing challenge.
The way this is the side net leaves a leg breaking gap between the top step and the net.
I can extend the top step 5" to close it off; no support under.

Re: Woods Skoota 32DM
is this stepping up from the back area of the pontoon to the cockpit?
Re: Woods Skoota 32DM
what if you have another little net made to fill that gap something that can clip to the step and the other net.fallguy1000 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 2:41 pm Finishing challenge.

Re: Woods Skoota 32DM
fallguy not quite sure what I am looking at? What are you standing on and where will the net take you? Would a simple hand rail there make all the difference, without going through the mess of epoxy work.
Dang man your boat has gotten so complex now we need some new pictures above deck from bow to stern and stern to bow. Maybe from on a ladder so we can see her from transom to bow, and then from bow to transom. I know she is a beauty.

I'm going to extend the top step and close the hole to avoid a broken leg or ankle.

Sounds wise to me. I'm pretty sure if was me that one day I'd step up in a hurry with something in my hand and my foot would slip forward into that hole.

I'll be 55 next year. If I can keep the boat for a few years; I'll be the stumbling guy!
