Nope. Each step is 9.1" high and the treads are 8". But this is a ladder, not a staircase.

A staircase would bonk head on coamings and bulkhead.
Standing room is 6' under the deck. 6'4" at the bottom of the ladder, 5' at the bulkhead.
Small boat and I already made it bigger than plan.
Constraints..

I have like 40 hours into waffling over the design. And I know about stair rules. To make a close to legit stairs would mean 5' of head clearance at the coaming...just not space for it.
This was the best plan, a super safe ladder.

Single bunk for me for nights when Jen has a couple extra. She snores if she drinks!
Needs fairing and paint, but this landing is the last structural item; the landing is plywood on the beam socket.
And the blackwater tank and raw water intake is in the starboard cabin.

This is the head bonker zone. Gonna need a pool noodle with a quarter cut away.

Bunk is 74" long and I might add a pillow rest on the other side of the BH. Actually a decent space and four windows.

Bonded in the landing(s). Tired some now.. steps are temp screwed on.
Tomorrow, gotta fair and fair some more and get the cabins one coat, sand them out and paint.
Lots to do...uff da. Maybe I'll start sleeping out here?
