Today, I'm gonna epoxy bond some internals to the front and side panels of the faceframe so I can screw the top front n back. See if I can maybe work on bending the top back some. It had 2mm of warp this summer and I got it out, but it took a couple of weeks.

But I will press on for sure here. I can work on adding cleats for the drop table today as well.

Back is not good. My left hip is the culprit methinks. It is failing some... very unsettling because I have lots to do to move to Texas..

Wow. Overnite my top laid down and lost 9/10mm of cup. I'll neatcoat it today and make some cleats to screw the front and middle down.

After all the time and money you have put into the boat I am sure hoping your body lets you enjoy it.

Thanks David. It is always nice that strangers or mostly strangers, even whom I may have poed, show genuine concern.

My left hip is not grinding, but hurts a lot, and it prpbably has severe labrum damage and will fail within the next few years. But it is a slow and painful process. I will schedule another shot of corticosteroids soon. But the shot is really painful torture and the pain I have daily is like a 4 at the end of the day and the shot is like 5 seconds of pain at about 8, so I dread the injections. The back starts to get crooked now and then from favoring the hip and then I can't do squat. All of this is from making way too many miles in my youth at work and play hunting birds and probably some family genetics.

Today, I didn't get the countertop epoxied. I worked on the cleats for the tabletop. Had to make the stock, clear the benches off, etc. good chance tomorrow will be a better day

Sorry to hear of hip/back issues. No personal experience but on an optimistic note I'll mention my neighbor/friend. 72 yrs old, has in years past repaced both hips and one shoulder. Walks a mile or two a day, twice weekly yoga and aerobics. Active and busy in the community. You wouldn't know of surgeries to see him or take that morning walk with him.

Says happy new year Dougster
