Second trip on the water this time i had a Powertech Stainless cupped prop and 4 people total in the boat. We went out at lunch and got enough fish for dinner. The motor with the prop will get 18 knts max. It still blows out on hard turns and needs some more power. i'll be going NEW motor shopping tomorrow... very impressed with the ride of the boat now if i can just get a little more speed lol
On a side note i painted my water line just a touch low(almost exactly the water line really) and is almost impossible to see the black graphite while sitting in the water. Check out my youtube channel SevenCabbageFishing for a video of the boat ride...

Beautiful boat, and I love the 7 palm cabbage name. I am lucky to know where that is on this planet, and even luckier to have been there. Bigger motor...yes!

I got the Mercury 60 Seapro Big Tiller Big Foot mounted this afternoon. should be a perfect fit for the boat. i'm having some paint peeling off the boat in a few spots but i'd rather ignore that right now lol

Nice...very nice! I may have to book you for a trip. I used to know that river and shoreline pretty well, but my last three trips had me puckered up all day. Dinging the prop the last trip confirmed my reason for concern...

Re: XF 20 Build
May have to catch fewer fish to keep from over loading the boat with that bigger motor!
