Beautiful pictures and at last a real boost for potential AD builders. I hope they look at your post. I am so glad to have my AD14 built over 6 Years and in May I will sail her again.
Greetings from Karl

I put Tipsy in the water(solo) @ Murrells Inlet on 4/20- spent the day being lazy in the sun at anchor -then spent the night and pulled her out the next morning. I had her fully rigged and ready to sail but in the end decided to just hang out and relax. Here’s some pics
P.S The smoked oysters were terrible so I fed them to the fish- the anchovies were delicious

Hi,
Beautiful pictures, this is exactly what I also want to do as soon I can take my Adelie to the water. Now it is still too cold. I have one question about the picture with a red plastic container behind the transom. Is this a petrol tank for your outboard and how did you attach it ? Is it permanently connected to the outboard motor on the PS transom ? Right now I have an electric outboard, but am always interested in a petrol driven outboard engine and how to realise it on my boat.
Greetings from Karl

Hi Karl ! Thankyou! Yes, that’s my 2.5 gallon gas can. I usually keep it in the cockpit under the tiller when sailing but it was in the way of where I wanted to put my cooler for the day. I used a length of line with one end tied around the handle and the other to the starboard cleat.
