I suppose you're done with your holes, but if not do as Netpackrat suggests and use drills for plastic. You won't need any tape.

The boat and I are hoping to get on the water again soon (me in the boat... rightside up). Been three years since the boat has been in the water, since the last move. Too long..... :?

Yeah you can also burn your way through with an abrasive bit in a Dremel or other die grinder, just don't let it bog down. If it sticks you are screwed.

Tipsy is re-sanded and waiting for her final coat of paint tomorrow . I decided to forgo the window tint. The wife will make me some curtains that I can mount with Velcro . I finished drilling the window holes and completed the through holes through the wood framing . Everything lines up and fits great. I will mount the windows with 5200/ ss bolts/ washers/ lock nuts as soon as the paint is on and cured. Also began work on the companionway framing

Really nice Bogie!!
I think you were smart to go with curtains.
I used tinted plexiglass on a rebuild years back. In low light I had a hard time seeing through it.
I was a nuisance to me.

Thanks, Eric! That is a great point. Not feeling bummed about it anymore

Curtains are good, cheap, removable, swappable, and help contribute to the distinctive boat cabin smell. Enter the 'removable and washable' feature. :D 8) If the day comes for my owning such a boat, I would likely do the curtain thing.

Nice progress. :)

Go to Walmart and buy your curtains there or buy the cloth there. They sell an outside seat cushion fabric, but wash it first then sow. Sometimes you need to set the color!!!
