AD16 (Tipsy) Myrtle Beach
Re: AD16 Myrtle Beach
Looking real good just one thought on my trailer I had to extend the bracket for my winch so it could be used to pull the boat up on to the trailer you mite look at that as it stands your winch would be pulling down on the bow and not up and forward. The spare led is a good idea to have until you get the balance of the boat in the water under sail worked out you can move it around then you can install it and seal it. That is what I had to do

Most people bllast with shot in resin.
You could probably glue them down, epoxy encap, and marine foam above the lead.
Can't wait to see this launched.

I haven’t done a lot because of the holidays but I did install the windows, sort of...I ran out of SS screws/washers/lock nuts. Windows are sealed with a thick bead of 3M 5200.

So I went ahead and purchased (from Sailrite) 2" thick, medium density antimicrobial/ biocide cushions for Tipsy's cabin. I'm probably purchasing things out of order for sailing but I figured I'll probably have her ready for a motor sail/ test launch long before I have the sail and the rest of her hardware. At least this way I'll still be able to enjoy her/ sleep on board while anchored in the inlet etc. Wife is going to sew the fabric. Should be comfy enough.

Yes! Can’t wait! I haven’t slept on the water in nearly 30 years since departing from the Navy (except for a cruise).Capt UB wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 5:15 pmBogieman wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 3:11 pm So I went ahead and purchased (from Sailrite) 2" thick, medium density antimicrobial/ biocide cushions for Tipsy's cabin.
