Well got something done on the old girl today...

Wiped down the the whole bottom of the fordeck and did a little sanding to knock down the screw holes.
I put a small drop of epoxy in each screw hole, then added a bit of filler and did a neat coat over the whole back.

Almost forgot to put in the 1/2 pvc pipe for the bow nav light. The deck is too low to use Shark Eyes, to bad would have looked cool at night! Cool and dead, seen and alive is better!

The last photo is the top of the deck, before I filled in the screw holes from the bottom. Came out nice and flat/even.

Before gluing the deck down, I'll sand where there will be contact between the bottom of the deck and cleats. I'll also coat the foam in the bow on top to add a bit more sealing of the foam.

Time to layout deck bling, or are you keeping it clear for fishing line(s)? :)

With my Fly casting skills, I too need to stay off the deck!
Thinking of a Cheap 12vt. clamp troiling motor, using a Gheenoe mount/stick anchor on the bow. I have never needed one, but sometimes I'll be using the LM18 in fresh water.

Will have a small LED 2 nm Nav light right on the bow and a fold down 8" SS cleat. That's it, not sure with way to go with stripping, bag, tub, none...

No deck bling, just 14 ft. x 10" STILETTO knife vinyl graphics with a bit of red dripping off the blade, will have it on both sides! How's that for some Bling!?
