Alaska Pictures

Post by Fuzz »

I will be putting my pictures here. Anyone who has some to share are welcome to post those here also.
This picture is of sea otters. The Russians almost wiped them out and that is one of the reasons they sold Alaska to the U.S. As you can see they have rebounded pretty well :D

SWMBO was taking pictures while I drove the boat and I am waiting for her to share those from the past two days.

Fuzz, I met up with these countrymen of yours in the foyer of the Anchorage Hilton! :D

The one on the left met his end "off the coast of Siberia" back in the 60's - now that was a pretty neat trick back in the middle of the cold war!

Speaking of Alaska, seven women of the team "Sail Like A Girl" just won the R2AK, amazing everyone:

Surrounded by beauty every day it can be easy to stop seeing it. I still see it every day but I seldom think to stop and take a picture.
