Caught these three guys about a mile from the house today. They have been hanging around together all summer. They were buzzy trying to fatten up before the girls run all the weight off them in a few weeks.
This guy did not want to stop eating long enough to hardly look at me. He must have big plans

You need to get one of them holding today’s paper if you want me to believe those pictures are real....

Re: Alaska Pictures
Yes, all of them are part of the transplanted herd.
I am pretty sure the biggest one would be a new Boone&Crocket record if it could be hunted. They are protected with no hunting season, ever. You just had bad timing. Animals show up and the weather warms back up as soon as you leave. What can I say

Bald eagles huh!Fuzz wrote: ↑Wed Feb 06, 2019 8:30 pm Out driving around today I came across three trees that had 30-40 eagles in them. Did not have my camera with me and when I got back with it this is all that were still there. If I looked around there was probably 100 more within 200 yards.
I always wonder how brave a rabbit would need to be to run under that tree

Re: Alaska Pictures
So how many eagles can one tree hold? Sorry it was cold and I did not get the best pictures.
And where do they feed in the winter? Local dump of course.
I was only able to get a small number of them. I am told there are over 300 hanging out at the dump.
