I got the seat corners and tops dry fitted this weekend. The corners are pretty strong. I was able to test the ends I cut off and had a tough time breaking them even on a 1" wide chunk. And on a 3-4" chunk hitting it with a hammer did not break the glue joints! The fg tape I used was just some leftover junk from my first build, so I am sure with quality woven or biax fg the corners would be even stronger. Mine get another layer of 6oz woven cloth covering them completely so I don't have any concerns about their strength moving forward.
