Thought I would share some info on my FS18 build.
I had the boat weighed on a certified scale with all the rigging and items that stay/mounted on the boat. This weight was 790 pounds. I deducted all the rigging and items best I could from manufactures listed weights. This gets the hull weight down to 515 pounds.
Rigging and permanent items:
Motor
ss prop
jack plate
trans plate
micro anchor/stick
lowrance
fire extinguisher
fuel water separator
bilge pump
yeti and tie downs/hardware
moeller tank
21' stiffy graphite + pole holders
16' 1/2" rope
switch panel, wiring and lights
battery
fuel lines
3 gallons gas
sissy bar
My fishing gear* is about 30 pounds and water/food and people add another 420 pounds. Giving a total running weight of 1240 pounds.
Fishing gear is 4 fly rods, big ass fly box, stripping basket, wading boots, tiller extension, 2 PFD's and 1 throw floatation.

Jacked up full 6". RPM's max at about 3/4 throttle, maybe a little less. Speed is about 20mph and temp alarm will sound if I run more than a 1/4 mile or so.
Jacked up to 4.5". Rpm's max at 7/8 throttle. Speed around 22.5, water pickup is fine. I can pop right up at this setting.
Jacked up to 3.5" Rpm's are around 5900 (rev limiter kicks in at 6040 or so). Speed is 24 mph +/-. Again water pickup is good and popup is good. I typically run at this height unless I know I will be crossing some super shallow stuff. The center of the nose cone is 1.5" below bottom of boat.
I got all these numbers together so I can work on getting a custom prop that will get my speed back but still run shallow. The stock aluminum 3-blade was getting 28-29 mph, but could not be raised more than a couple inches w/o blowing out.

Apparently so. I do have full glass inside and out, 6 oz, plus full filled foam cavities, larger decks and an additional bulkhead at battery compartment. The soles are 1" higher under the decks, so they would drain into main cockpit. Guess that added a couple hundred pounds, or I have a leak.
