I took the motor off and realized that this transom must have had some work done before. As you can see from the images, the previous owner must have tried to do something....not sure what, but it's a mess. I'm planning on cutting where the "red line" indicates in one of the pictures. I hope I can get good enough weather in the next couple of days to start this. I'm thinking of just layering a few sheets of plywood. My main go-to is west marine 205 and 404 to "glue" the sheets together and then putting it all together with 1708.
Any advice would be highly appreciated. The Hydra Sport have this funny "bump" at the back which I do not know the purpose of and will make this task a bit harder I assume.
