Okoume Puzzle Joints

Post by Reid »

Wanted to share a pretty cool photo from our Boat Builder Central warehouse today. We had a customer out of Louisiana order quite a few sheets of Okoume BS1088 Marine Plywood. As you can see he also took advantage of our CNC cut puzzle joints. These puzzle joints will definitely give him an advantage when creating really smooth and strong hull panels.

That is a very interesting picture.

A few years ago, I was building a Spira coffin (that's what the boat began to look like). I had bought my Marine Plywood from a local lumber yard..... I learned a great lesson.... Don't buy old plywood, don't buy American made Fir marine ply and you pay a price for those mistakes.

It's nice to know that the ply moves... No old stock.

Thanks BBC, for keeping the freshness in Marine Plywood.. :D
