This will be a huge boat for me after rb16.
Significant project, I will be following with interest.
Currently building Jacques Mertens ST21 "Skinnydip". Boating adventures: Splash testing and using 'Skinnydip, as a basis of further building refinement; Adams 44’ sailing sloop "Great Sandy" (cruising and maintaining); Iain Oughtred Feather Pram "Mini Dip" (building); Jacques Mertens R13 "Wood Duck" (built and due for maintenance).

Can you just use glass seams? I hate butt blocks ever since I had a 1947 Chris Craft with rot on the back of a butt block.

Fallguy I believe the seams on the DE25 are all fiberglass and epoxy. Tom

I thought so as well, but didn't want to overspeak. Perhaps butt block is being used as a generic term is all.

Smart idea to learn on a smaller boat. I love the RB16!
