Long time coming. Finally got it on the trailer and into the water last weekend. Very pleased though I still have many details to finish.

Thanks guys,
I bought a new Yamaha 25 hp 2 stroke back in 2010 before starting as I wanted the lightest 25 that I could find - it weighs 105#.
I need to have it serviced as the lower unit seems to have a leaking seal and I'm concerned about the age of the impeller. It started right up after sitting all these years. marvel mystery oil in the cylinders and enough pull to turn the crank. I am part way through break in. I set the motor too high so I'm going to lower it a step at a time until I get performance I want. haven't weighed the boat yet. seems light enough with a end lift in the garage. Hoping for 400 or less. I lost touch with the forum years back so I didn't really think about photos much. I was taking every spare minute to just get it done. Wife finally got interested as the whole pandemic thing got going and she realized I could take them off her hands for some real life experience. So ready to fish again. Boys are old enough and ready as well. looking forward to "distance learning" out on the water.
