Well that was quick. I probably looked at mine for 3 weeks before I flipped it. The race is on. I'm impressed you made those bends on the bottom panels without kerfing. Did you put fiberglass over the butt joints on the panels? I don't see them.

I got antsy. Lol. I bent the pieces slowly. Clamping down over a couple of nights. What do you mean the butt joints on the panels?FluidDynamic wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 7:59 pm Well that was quick. Thanks!
I just realized what you were asking. I only used fiberglass on one side of the butt joints. Looking back, I should've done it on both sides. I did it on the outside of the curve it that makes sense. I'll run the tape on the inside now that it's flipped. Live and learn.

Even though your putting the wide cloth on, I would still put tape on those butt joints. It's on the plans where it says "The fiberglass splices are made of one layer of biaxial each side". Just don't wont you to have a week spot.

Agreed. I’m going to tape all of the inside joints first.FluidDynamic wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 10:53 pm Even though your putting the wide cloth on, I would still put tape on those butt joints. Re: Sharkbait PG20
Got the seams done and one full side done. Ran about 5 feet short on the biaxial cloth. Heading out of town for a week on Saturday so won't be able to get much done till I get back.
