Waited too long...

To get off the 30 bucks for a kitchen scale.

Mixing epoxy by weight allows me to to mix the smallest of batches that are not limited to how small of a graduated container is on hand. It's a game changer.

Also, as much as I've read about drilling 2 holes in bubbles to fill, it was only today that I did it for the first time. Watching the bubble fill, and thickened epoxy ooze out of the 2nd hole, may have been the most satisfying thing I did this weekend. I'll never grind another bubble again!

Agreed on the scale! I printed out a spreadsheet with all the ratios from like .1 oz. to 9.9 or whatever so I never need to use a calculator.

I usually mash bubbles, I need to try the 2 hole trick.

Enough to make it look like puss oozing out of the relief hole.

Regarding mixing with the scale, I just read the stickie at the top of the epoxy page. Mixing ratio for MarinEpoxy is not 2:1, but 1:.43.

Spreadsheet showing ratios from 1-60 now printed and close to the mixing bench.
