It is a great, inexpensive cover. Keeps most of the crap (i.e. freaking live oak leaves!) out and protects from rain and sun. On my second tarp, about $100, lasted 3 years. The entire boat fits under it with about 6 inches of the outboard sticking out the back.

my 2 cents; I'd have a tight cover to keep out any wasp nests, cobwebs, bugs, and sparrows. Make sure no water can pond on it though.

If you are thinking about leaving it basically unattended in florida except for vacations. you are going to need a hurricane resistant cover, strapping it to trailer. Staking the trailer to the ground, like how they do mobile homes.
