Last spring I started my “lockdown project”. But as it turned out, our business wasn’t as affected as we thought it would. So I have really only done this is fits and starts.
Thought I’d share some process of my off menu changes. This is better than my first boat, a GV10. The reverse transom for reboarding seemed to turn out well. No more motor capability now. Just a SUP.

How much did you shorten her? Even for the FS13, she looks short!Ben Coombs wrote: ↑Wed Jul 21, 2021 7:31 pm Not that anyone saw the og post. But here she is on the water.

I didn’t shorten her at all…. The removed transom may have taken a few inches off. But otherwise to the plans.

Super stable as a sup. Not a speed demon though. It seems that I stand farther forward than expected… that causes the bow to ride low in the water. But so far I’m happy with the results. Easy to get back on with the reverse transom, but it also allows a boat wake to fill up the deck if it hits from behind (like when anchored).
Good for fishing!

How effective is it compared to regular SUP boards if you know? Thinking about doing something like this. Not interested in a motor but very interested in it for fishing etc.
