Hi everybody. Here´s a Finnish engineer work and build by one welder (my dad) who passed away 2005.
NorthSteel 41 is the name and some info here:
Weight: 19 tons - Length: ~14 m - Width:4,2m - Speed: max.9 knots \ normal 7-8knots
Engine: MB 362 diesel - 135hp (old bus engine modified for marine use)
Sleeping places for 7, sauna, toilet, electricity, water heating radiators, keel is fillt with ~1 ton of concrete.
build time 1999-2005, first time on lake 2003

Beautiful boat! Your father was a master craftsman. It is too bad he did not get to use it for many years.

Thanks. Found an old photo collection from his first ~10meter steel boat early 90´s. I will try to make some free time and digitalize those soon so i can make similar kind of slideshow video... really nice rusty steel plate images coming

Need to buy a photo scanner to get better quality but here´s really raw material. Boat got to a finnish "Kippari" magazine. On second pic you can see the sprayed on urethan to reduce sounds and give insulation for changing weathers
