Any chance JM would consider drawing and specifyng the PH22 at + 10% x, z only with a armstrong bracket for 150hp?

I'd pay him for the work as long as it wasn't too much and then he could sell the plans.

FallGuy,

I will send this to Jacques for his review and decision. They are away on an overseas travel but he is checking his mail.

I will get back to you,

Jeff

Not possible right now. I am really far away with very limited Internet. I will be back mid February. Please contact me at that time.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is x, y, and z in relation to length, width and height?

As a Maths major I'd say that that is entirely arbitary. I choose to use x as the length down the hull, y as the width, and z as the height. YMMV of course. Perhaps there's a convention among designers.

Yes, I assume that in this case ‘y’ is width. It’s already a wide boat without the10% upscale - a “wide load” to tow in my part of the world.

To clarify, I only want a beam increase and a length increase. No freeboard addition.

I don't care about permits; this is a slipped boat for us, a little extra beam makes it more comfortable for 6 adults is all.

OK, hence my question. Thanks for the clarification. Seems to me that’s easy to do, without a major redraw by Jacques. Just buy the metric plans and multiply the measurements by 1.1. Then trim the side panels and moulds/ bulkheads to suit your needs. You may waste some ply but that’s not a big deal.

I did the opposite! :D Upscaled by 10% and then added a bit of extra ‘croc’ factor to the freeboard. 8O

I want to see if Jacques would be willing to draw it and spec for bracket so BBC can cnc cut it for me for a garage build.
