I thought this was neat.

I bought some the other day, and it occurred to me that since this is waterproof and instant bond it would work for cleats. And it does. Instant on, no mess or movement. I’d pre coated the cleats with epoxy on all sides and cured. Just a quick rough up, add the tape in two small patches and epoxy glue to the rest. Peel stick and forget. Simpler than hot glue which always made a mess for me.

Here it is for my windshield. It looks like crap on the outside of the frame; fyi. Look just above the radio mic. It does that wherever and a lot.

Is that because you have such small frames? Mine would be recessed into ply. Maybe it's the photo but I don't see it as that bad. In the boatworks video he puts the tape in the recess, lays the plexi on top and then fills the gap. Might be possible to mask from the outside with a spraypaint or something.fallguy1000 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 29, 2022 9:13 am Here it is for my windshield. It was worse when I had the glass out. Had to redo the entire thing and then paint the aluminum frame.
