Rigging tube location

Post by fallguy1000 »

Anyone know if there is a way to make the rigging tube stay in a home location? Mine is on the hull and sort of wish it were not. Gonna rub and take off the paint.

Need better pictures, where is it going? Does it need to be as long as it is?

No changes can be made to the tube.

Here is another view, for perspective.

Instead of trying to keep the tube away from the paint I'd put a rubstrip on where it rubs. A piece of UHMWPE glued or screwed on, some kiwigrip, bit of wood trim, some Aluminium plate. Whatever you have.

Alternatively a sock for the tube. Something from soft material and free to slide a bit.

X2, except I would wait and see if it does mar the paint and then fix it. That sleeve isn't that abbrasive, and shouldn't move that much.

Not sure if you would want to go this route but I have used one of these before and they are soft and last
