If I am out offshore 80 miles on the Gulf of Mexico; gonna take me 4 hours to get out and 4 hours to get in. Too deep to anchor, but I can setup a radar alarm and quit fishin at sundown or say 8pm, clean fish while underway, set the speed at 10mph, keep a radar alarm and go to sleep. Not sure if I'll sleep or not..but I can't get home in one hour!

Yeah, its gotta be a real hoot running 1700 hp at current gas prices!

The Skoota will run about 4mpg @ say 10kts cruise, call it $15 an hour.

I “would get” closer to 20mpg if I was allowed to use my boat. Then again… I hope I’m only using it about 5min per trip.
