Never say it is a wood hull. It is a composite hull. Try Hagerty.MDFeen wrote: ↑Tue Aug 23, 2022 11:20 am Suzuki 115 was installed and tested by the dealer. Received my boat registration and my C19 is ready to go. Question on boat insurance, I tried to get the boat insured with Geico marine and they would not insure due to the wood hull. Anybody know of any companies they will insure home built boats. Main reason I would like to insure is, if you keep the boat at a marina they want the marinas name on the insurance policy.

Dan, I have been out on my C19 a number of times and it rides great. The 115 hp really moves the boat. Was doing around 30 mph with 7 people on board. It handles the Chesapeake bay with no problem.
Re: C-19 in Maryland
Wow. Looks stunning on the water. What’s the top speed with 2 on board?
Re: C-19 in Maryland
Beautiful boat and love those Suzuki 115 motors with that 2.59 gear ratio you can really mount a bigger pitched prop. What is your prop size, top speed at what rpm's. Tom

Damn, I can feel the stoke! This boat is a big 19’. Good to hear she can move. I’m right behind you!
Re: C-19 in Maryland
We could only start using the C19 at end of August and have been on it about 4 or 5 times. At the end of engine break in period now. Have not had 2 people on yet. Least amount was 4 people. With 4 people doing 30mph at 4000rpm (still at break in) could easily go over 30mph. Prop pitch is 14x19. So far the C19 is awesome.

She looks great. What did you use for a swim step? That’s a detail I haven’t thought through yet.
