Boat Builder Central Update

Post by Reid »

Hello Everyone!

Let me start this message off by saying that I know the last 5 weeks have been very difficult for many of our customers in the southeast US. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you go through recovery efforts from hurricanes Helene and Milton. Being a lifelong Floridian, I know all too well that hurricanes take a toll on you, your loved ones, and your way of life. However, I also know that it is times like these where a community can come together to help one another in a time of need. I wish everyone a speedy recovery! Please don't hesitate to reach out to the Boat Builder Central / Bateau community for assistance.

On another topic, some of you may have noticed some changes at Boat Builder Central. The biggest change, that you may not be aware of, is that Jeff (owner of Boat Builder Central) is retiring. Many of you know (and some of you may not know) that Jeff is my father-in-law. I have had the privilege of working with Jeff since he took over the business from Jacques back in 2015. Jeff's values of customer service, loyalty, and business ethics have helped grow and shape Boat Builder Central into a company that I am proud to be taking over. Please help me in congratulating Jeff on his retirement and wishing him the best of luck in the next chapter of his life. Also, Jeff, I hope your new place in Georgia has bunk beds because I'm sending your grandkids up for the summer!

I want to thank the Boat Builder Central community for being an amazing and loyal customer base. You all truly make it easy to go to work every day! I especially would like to thank Jaysen for all of his hard work helping me with the transition. Your efforts are invaluable!

I am truly excited see what the future brings for myself, my family, and Boat Builder Central!

Thank you,
Reid McCree

When you find a business run by good people it is a treasure. Thank you for carrying on the tradition; good luck to you, Reid, and thank you to Jeff. Enjoy your retirement!

This times 2. It has been a pure pleasure dealing with Jeff and Reid over the years. Not sure I have another boat left in me but I do know when I need supplies where the first place I will look is.

And Reid send the kids to Jeff all you want as I know he will love it. Downside is you never know what you will get back, they could be payback in full
