PH-18 "DONE" but toooo cold to fish

Finished. After 7 months of nights after work and weekends it's all done, and it was all worth it. I looked back at the things I did right and the things I did wrong and the first thing that comes to mind is buying the Pre-cut Kit for this boat (good thing). What a time saver and the fit was perfect. The bad things I've forgot already. Only had the boat out one time for about 20 min. and she did every thing I hoped for. There are minor odds and ends to finish but I have till spring to finish up. I tried to add a photo but didn't work. If someone can help on how to add a photo let me know. I posted some photos in the gallery.

Thanks to all for the feed back. I never built anything on this scale before, but if you take your time it all fits together in the end. There is one other thing "Thank God for E-Bay. I'm going to post more photos in the next couple of days to show the build from the beginning.

Wow! Excellent boat! Beautiful work! There is a marina/boat dealer next to my office - I sent your pics to my co-workers and told them to check it out before spending 40K plus on a boat next door!

Now - enjoy the fruits of your labor!

Nice boat! I don't think I've ever seen a picture of a poorly-finished Phantom, and you are now a member of the club. Enjoy your phishing!

Beauty! Very clean lines... but I don't know what this baloney is about it being too cold to fish! But at least we know you're a boat builder...

Speaking of cold, I've got to get outside now and finish the catapult (gift building season... (nephews have such odd requests) no, it's not for the cat...)

sincerely,
ks

Someday I hope to beable to build like that. it will be hard to fish when everyone is admirering your boat ,you will have to take somuch time at the loading dock explaining everything.

We get that even with our NC16 canoe. With a Phantom 18 you'd have to carry a cattle prod.
